Dunedin/Wellington based Karin Reid and Alex Wolken have established themselves as NZ purveyors of a unique sound they dub 'indie jazz-noir' and have developed a mix of reimagined jazz standards, modern jazz vocalese and avant-tinged originals, along with takes of classic and alternative pop-rock tunes. The duo coax rich and evocative harmonies and subtle grooves from their minimal set up.
